“HR is colorful area, where is a lot of space for rules & legislative as well as fun & creativity.”
Who said that?
Let’s discover it all together. But first, let me introduce myself.
My name is Anna-Marie and I am studying the last year of my Master’s Management Degree, specialized in Human Resource Management (University of Economics, Prague).
★ This blog is aimed for everyone who is interested in HR, just like me. I am passionate about HR. It may sound like cliché but I am.
★ The first time, when I got closer to HR was in 2013 when I was deciding what to write my bachelor thesis about. I was open to everything from management basically, but I met someone who made a great impression on me and it made the decision much easier. It was my professor of Human Resources Management. She was so inspirational, successful, a natural leader. She agreed to be my adviser and together we created a thesis about the evaluation of employees performance, supported by Bentley Motors Ltd., where I worked as an intern.
★ Until then, I was just studying HR and I desperately wanted to turn this knowledge into practice. I applied for several part-time jobs and then I started to work at recruitment, where I was working for 7 months and then I had to quit the job because I was facing another chapter of my life. I was accepted to an exchange student program at the University of Northern Colorado with focused on Management, Human Resource Management and Social Media.
